All State & District Honor Choir

Bella Voce (Italian for "beautiful voice") is a select women's choir at Silver Creek that focuses on strengthening knowledge of ensemble singing and performance, music reading, ear training, and musicality. Currently at 46 members, this ensemble rehearses every other day and is open to all grades through audition. Bella Voce strives to promote high levels of artistry while building a close community of singers. Bella Voce recognizes the power of ensemble singing and is committed to promoting choral music to Silver Creek and the surrounding community.
Concert Choir is a select mixed choir (men and women) that focuses on strengthening knowledge of ensemble singing and performance, music reading, ear training, and musicality. Currently at 48 members, this ensemble rehearses every other day and is open to all grades through audition. Concert Choir strives to promote high levels of artistry while building a close community of singers. Concert Choir recognizes the power of ensemble singing and is committed to promoting choral music to Silver Creek and the surrounding community.

Auditions at Silver Creek will be from 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday, February 10-11. Please email Mr. Skelton at skelton_jeremy@svvsd.org to request a 10 minute audition slot...please send a couple of times to choose from. Mr. Skelton will then put you in the schedule and email you a confirmation.

GO WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS...
1. Know your materials, PRACTICE LOTS, both the songs you choose and sides you choose and have a sense of the show (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honk!).
2. Please no excuses! I promise you it is not a good thing to give an excuse before, during or after your audition. You have my word; I will know if you are sick or hurting and I will be understanding.

3. Do not fret over a mistake! Be BRAVE. Be BOLD. Do not wait to be asked "can you give more?" but just GIVE MORE. THIS IS YOUR SHOT. I am so rooting for you big time!
